PRAY FOR SURFERS Network
Christian Surfers South Africa (CSSA) is excited to announce the launch of a new communication structure and strategy for a national prayer network for our mission!
Matt 18:19 “I (Jesus) tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven.”
Christian Surfers South Africa strives to give every surfer in every surfing community of South Africa the opportunity to know and follow Jesus. CSSA holds to the fundamental value and truth that according to God’s Word, God uses prayer to influence the circumstances, outcomes and daily affairs of human life. As such, prayer is critical to achieving God’s vision for the surfers and surfing communities of South Africa.
James 5:16 “The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”
The new communication structure and strategy is an initiative to create a network of prayer partners to Pray for Surfers; and with this, to establish a platform for effective communication between our local CS missions and this prayer network. The prayer team consists of key leaders and other believers who are committed to pray for the mission. This means receiving prayer requests, regular feedback and praise reports from each outreach ministry along our coast and supporting our volunteer teams in prayer. Record will be kept of prayer requests and feedback will be given as we receive praise reports to encourage each other as we see God move and impact lives. Furthermore, this initiative will enhance a leader’s awareness of what’s happening in other areas of our mission as we unite in prayer. It will help to cultivate and maintain a strong prayer culture and focus in our mission as well as create an opportunity to mentor/coach young leaders and young people in prayer ministry.
Pray with us
I want to invite you to consider becoming one of our prayer partners as we turn to God, lifting the CSSA mission up to Him, seeking His council and guidance through dedicated and consistent prayer. We are dependent on God, and the more people pray, the less we are dependent on our own wisdom and expertise.
